It is hard to compare the 2 trails as the terrain and environment are so different between the northeast and the Grand Canyon. If you are talking about hiking from the South Rim to Phantom Ranch, the elevation gain is about the same for Mt Washington, the distance is much less for Mt. Washington Jewell trail, but the terrain is much more rugged.

Tuckermans was as expected, a rocky relentless climb from the trailhead.
