Only pulled one calf out of the half bloods this year and that was solely because we had a place to be and didn't have time to wait and see if she would have it.

By replacing the Corriente cows with their heifer offspring every year, and breeding those heifers back to bulls of the type of cattle you want, you would have 87% Red Angus x 13% Corriente in three generations. You have gained a high percentage Red Angus herd from an initial investment of $500 per cow, or whatever Corrientes are worth nowadays.
